Greetings,
Thanks for reading my ad in the 'Union Leader'.
On this page you will find irrefutable proof that former New Mexico Governor Gary Johnson has qualified for Monday's Republican candidate debate.
Below are the links to three national polls released in May, all of which have been certified by the debate sponsors WMUR, Union Leader and CNN.
Quinnipiac University Poll - May 4
CNN Opinion Research Poll - May 24-26
As the results below confirm, Governor Johnson received a total of 6% in these polls, which fulfills the sponsor's requirement of a 2% average in three national polls released in May.
The first poll we'll examine is the CNN poll, in which voters were asked who they support if Rudy Giuliani or Sarah Palin aren't in the race. Governor Johnson received 2% support.
The Gallup poll below also omits Palin and Giuliani (without mentioning Giuliani).
Governor Johnson received 3% support.

And lastly there's the Quinnipac poll, in which Governor Johnson received 1% support.

The above polls total 6% support for Governor Gary Johnson, thereby entitling him to a podium on Monday's debate stage.
The debate sponsors, however, ruled this week that the CNN and Gallup polls are not 'legitimate' polls. Instead, the sponsors said they would only accept results from 'hypothetical' polls that include non-candidates Palin and Giuliani. (Never mind that the acceptable Quinnipac poll doesn't include Giuliani.)
You read the above correctly-- debate sponsor CNN has ruled that an official poll commissioned and paid for by CNN is not a 'legitimate' poll.
This brand new unwritten 'ruling' was concocted on-the-fly by the sponsors, who were faced with the embarrassing prospect of having to welcome Governor Johnson into the debate at the last minute.
With no time left for supporters of Governor Johnson to file legal action, the debate sponsors have gotten their way.
Their unscrupulous actions have succeeded in keeping the honorable Gary Johnson, two-term governor of the great state of New Mexico, out of Monday's debate.
Thanks for reading. I'd love to know what you think.
